A family-run luggage repair workshop in Thornton, Colorado, built on the simple idea that a good bag deserves a second life.
How We Got Started
Holdenzio Co. began with a single broken suitcase and a frustrating phone call. The manufacturer's answer was to ship the bag to a service center two states away and wait six weeks for a wheel that would have taken twenty minutes to replace. We thought Thornton deserved better, and we opened a small workshop on Rowena Street to prove it.
Today we repair hundreds of bags a year for travelers across Adams County and the Denver metro. Our bench handles everything from a vintage leather briefcase to the latest polycarbonate spinner, and our parts shelves are stocked for the brands people actually carry: Samsonite, Travelpro, Tumi, Rimowa, Away, Delsey, Briggs & Riley, Osprey and dozens more.
What We Believe
- Repair first. Throwing away a suitcase over a broken wheel is a waste of money and materials. Nearly every bag can be fixed, and we will tell you plainly when one cannot.
- Do it properly. We reinforce from the inside, use heavy-duty thread and hardware, and test every repair before it leaves the bench.
- Be straight with people. Quotes up front, no surprises, and a 12-month workmanship guarantee on everything we do.
Our Workshop
Our Thornton shop is equipped with industrial walking-foot sewing machines for ballistic nylon and leather, plastic welding and bonding equipment for hard-shell repairs, and an extensive inventory of wheels, sliders, handles, locks and hardware. Most repairs are completed on site within a few business days, and many small jobs are done while you wait.
